COMMUNITIES & EDUCATION

Put specialist knowledge
to work for your community.

Help your members and learners find work that values their expertise.

Professional communities and educators understand distinctions a general recruitment platform can miss. QuietMoves is being developed to bring that expertise into opportunities, careers information and learning pathways.

In development. Registration is not open yet.

OPPORTUNITIES

Less manual collection.
More relevant detail.

The proposed service brings together relevant roles and career information, without relying on someone repeatedly collecting vacancies from separate sources.

A community built around FPGA, for example, should be able to reflect the distinctions its members recognise between different kinds of engineering work.

Help shape how experience is described, so people can see where their expertise fits.

LEARNING & CAREERS

Connect learning
with the work it enables.

For educators and professional bodies, useful information can show how skills relate to occupations, where adjacent career routes exist, and which requirements employers actually describe.

The aim is to support informed course and career decisions, with the evidence and its limitations visible.

That creates room for specific development advice: what an individual already knows, where it could transfer and what would help them bridge a gap.

WORKING TOGETHER

A relationship members
can understand.

Participation is a choice.

A partnership would not require handing over a membership or mailing list. Individuals should understand QuietMoves and choose whether to join.

The proposed split is straightforward: QuietMoves handles the platform and administration; partners help shape and review their specialist area. The actual workload and terms need agreement.

Agree the contribution and return.

We’re open to agreed revenue sharing from employer services or education referrals. Responsibilities, ownership and commercial relationships should be clear.

Educational recommendations should explain their relevance. Paid placement and referral arrangements should be visible to the people using them.

START A SPECIALIST AREA

Built around the people
who know the discipline.

We are interested in conversations with specialist networks, professional bodies and educators as the service develops.
